This audio recording is a live performance from TWOTH's "PLAYBACK THE COMPACT" Release Party in 2022. TWOTH expressed the theme of the beauty of Japan's ancient aesthetics through "silence". During the live performance, TWOTH used their own real-time sampling techniques with modern technology to weave together environmental and ambient sounds, including music and noise from the audience, in an organic manner to create a meditative space where one could experience the silence. The performance included a sound collage that has been continuing since 1906.
